Rio Ferdinand and Jason Bradbury Reveal Halo : Reach Elite Spartan Squad Competition


Halo : Reach is set to be the biggest entertainment launch of 2010, and the game is exclusively available on the Xbox 360.  Halo set new sales records beating all previous video games and blockbuster movie launches back in 2007 when Halo 3 was released.
Earlier this year Bungie released a Beta for Halo : Reach to which 2.7 Million players signed up and participated in.  Making it the most popular console Beta tested game on record.
And today with less than 7 weeks to go to the full release, Premiership football Rio Ferdinand and Jason Bradbury from The Gadget Show revealed a major nationwide competition and the Halo : Reach Elite Spartan Squad.  The competition is due to launch on Wednesday 4th August, at http://www.xbox.com/lookingforaleader
This gives Halo fans a chance to play and take part in a series of online mini Halo 3 tournaments in mid-August. Winners will then be selected to attend a mega launch event in London in mid-September.  This is a massive once in a lifetime chance for all you Halo fans to attempt to earn your right to take part in one of the most exciting live Halo battles in gaming history!! Can you make the grade? And don’t forget you will be there with the all celebrity Elite Spartan Squad.
As well as Rio and Jason the Halo: Reach Elite Spartan Squad includes the  Gorgeous model and T4 presenter, Jameela Jamil; and England Rugby hunk, Ben Cohen.
The 5th Spartan member is due to be revealed next week and the 6th will be chosen via the competition. And you will be the team captain!! It is your job to make sure your Elite Squad is ready for battle.  Will you be the chosen one?
